1. Note that there is no question mark after the phrase, "Why don't you simply...go fuck yourself.". Too often, a question mark would be used here. However, the author has correctly identified it as a rhetorical question, and thus a question mark is not needed.

2. The use of the word "simply" adds to the mood. It goes deeper than "Go and fuck yourself". Simply go fuck yourself or simply take a flying fuck. These have a nice ring to them.

3. The phrase is ended with the term "prick". Not only has the author very clearly told the recipient what he should simply do, but he is also letting him know what he thinks about him. That he is, in fact, a "prick", in the view of the author. There is a great clarity of expression here. "
